UK-born artist marketing platform un:hurd has announced two new leadership appointments, with respected music industry executives Paul Trueman and Hazel Savage joining the platform.
Trueman joins the newly created role of COO, while Savage joins the company’s board of directors.
The news follows recent seven digits investment round led by Kobalt Music Founder and Chairman Willard Ahdritz.
Paul Trueman joins the newly created position of COO, responsible for developing un:hurd’s automated and bespoke marketing solutions and business strategies, while focusing on organizational structure and processes as “the business prepares for evolve,” according to a press release.
Prior to joining un:hurd, Trueman was Managing Director at A.W.A.leading the UK and international marketing and promotions teams.
Having started in 2013 when AWAL was a division of Kobalt Music Grouphe helped grow the company globally and oversaw global marketing campaigns for the likes of Little Simz, Gerry Cinnamon, Lauv, girl in red, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Tom Misch and many more. others.
Hazel Savage, meanwhile, has joined the un:hurd board, offering “strategy, insight and broad experience,” according to the company.
un:hurd claims to use proprietary technology and AI to turn music and social data into “impactful promotional campaigns” for artists and labels.
The platform has worked with what it says are “some of the biggest artists and influential record labels in the world”, in addition to partnering with over 25,000 up-and-coming artists to grow and grow their audiences and careers.
