I won’t say much about either because if I do I’m bound to give away spoilers and highly recommend watching them on hold.
I will say this. Do you think someone could make a movie where a lot of the plot is about whether a company should focus on quality in furniture manufacturing? If you had asked me before I saw Executive suiteI would have said no.
As for A hard worker, my favorite scene is at the end when the camera pans out to show the beautiful Manhattan skyline, showing, if I remember correctly, the twin towers. Like other Americans, I still feel bad for the approximately 2,500 people in those buildings and on the two planes who were murdered when the planes crashed. But I also feel bad that we can’t see those buildings anymore. Back to the camera. As we go, we hear Carly Simon sing “Let the River Run.” I looked everywhere for this version. The one I bought from Carly Simon is good but not as good.
And you? What are your favorite pro-business and/or pro-market films? I recognize that they are not nearly the same.
UPDATE: Thanks to Captain J Parker for reminding me, in the comments below, other people’s moneythat I job on in 2017.
